Call for Papers

The 15th IEEE International Conference on RFID Technology and Applications (IEEE RFID-TA 2025) is seeking high-quality submissions for papers on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and adjacent topics. IEEE RFID-TA 2025 is an opportunity to share, discuss, and witness research results in all areas of RFID technology and its applications.

This year, the submission process of the IEEE RFID-TA conference has been updated to offer 2 options to submit a paper:
option A: Submit a regular paper for the conference. Paper length is 3 pages minimum (no maximum). The paper, if accepted, will be presented by registered authors during the conference and the paper will be published in the IEEEXplore proceedings.
option B: Submit a journal paper to JRFID. The paper, if accepted, will be published in a special issue of JRFID “2025 RFID-TA Special Issue” (the paper will not be published in the conference proceedings) and registered authors will present the paper during the conference. In this case the reviewing process is entirely done by JRFID. Paper length is not limited.
The deadline for both options is set to 30th of March 2025.

A Special Issue of the IEEE Journal of RFID will promote the most important results presented at the conference and allows the authors to extend regular paper (option A) into journal papers (“2025 RFID-TA Special Issue”). Note that extended papers should have a similarity score lower than 50% compared to conference papers.
